After 10 years of running other machines, Hamblin Hire has succumb to repeated customer demands and purchased two 5 Series Kanga Loaders. “Customers were coming in and asking for Kangas” said Mike Hamblin, owner of Hamblin Hire. “So we decided to buy two Kangas to start with” he continued.

Hamblin Hire is a family business, established as Airport Handi Hire by Bob Hamblin in 1978 in a small rented property at the Albury Airport. The business is now owned by Mike and Ursula Hamblin. In 1980 the business moved to Fallon Street and changed it’s name to Hamblin Handy Hire. Mike joined his father in 1982 and together began to grow the business slowly increasing the size of the plant and equipment.

In 1986 another name change took place to reflect the true nature of the business and became Hamblin Hire. After steering the company through very hard and tough years Bob Hamblin retired in 1992. The business is now owned by Mike and Ursula Hamblin and has continued a steady growth. The expansion of the business can be reflected in its current location in Drome Street, Albury.

Hamblin Hire is now focused on further developing their services in the Commercial Sector, targeting contractors and builders as well as the home handy person with an ever-increasing range of equipment.

Asked what he thought of his new Kanga machines, “Very good, I’m exceptionally happy” Mike replied. “I love its strength” he added.

Since creating the first compact loader over 30 years ago, the Kanga brand has been recognised around the world as a proven symbol of quality, reliability and performance.

Kanga Loaders offers a range of 6 models from the “Kid” or 2 Series able to fit through doorways to the heavy duty 8 Series. With models available with wheels or tracks, petrol or diesel and with over 60 attachments available there is a Kanga Loader to suit every job.
